Archana Sharma

Professor Robert Langdon had seen some strange things in his life, but CERN was the strangest. He blinked a few times, wondering if he was hallucinating. “That’s the accelerator? Twenty-seven kilometres long? Bored in a perfect circle extending all the way into France”.
Archana Sharma is an Indian experimental physicist and a staff member of CERN - European Organization for Nuclear Research since 1987 and is presently working on the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) project in Geneva, Switzerland.
She has given over 30 courses on gaseous detectors in prestigious workshops including ones at the NATO School in St. Croix in 2002, Snowmass Meeting in Denver, Colorado in 2002 and International Committee on Future Accelerators Meetings.
A widely respected scientist she even found a part in a movie where she shared her views about how the mythical theories of creation co-relate with scientific findings at CERN.
So this Apogee, be a witness to the unveiling of the mysteries of universe, with a BIG BANG!!
