Overview
Poster Presentations
SPECIAL NOTE:
Rolling deadline for Poster Presentation is February 27th. It is an opportunity for those exceptional posters who missed the regular deadline. The result for these entries will be uploaded by 1st March.
A poster combines text and graphics to make a presentation that communicates your research. Typically, a professional poster involves showing your work to numerous researchers at a conference or seminar. As the viewers walk by, your poster should quickly and efficiently communicate your research.
Unlike the fast pace of a slide show or verbal presentation, a Poster Session allows viewers to study and restudy your information and discuss it with you one on one. You may also be required to give short oral presentation on your research.
An effective poster should answer the What's, the How's and the Why's of the work that you have done. You should examine critically, the approach that you have taken and the results that you have got.
